President of World Alliance of Martial Arts
It is our great pleasure to announce, that Steve Barnett has accepted the position as president of WAMA, for 2012. Also Alexander Sivkov has accepted the position for 2013.
We are very happy to have two such renowned senseis as presidents to help WAMA grow into the association, we hope it will become.
Both senseis have given martial arts their knowledge and expertice for over 30 years and hopefully for many years to come.
We look forward to traning with them and learning from them in all the coming seminars.
It is well deserved that Steve gets the post as the first president of World Alliance of Martial Arts. His work during all his years in MA has been extensive , so it is an great honor that he has agreed to take the first presidency. All future presidents of WAMA will be elected on the yearly WAMA Congress. Next president will be Alexander Sivkov, the Russian representative, and the congress will be held in Kazan, Russia – next year in May
I would like to offer my congratulations and full support to Hanshi Steve Barnett. A wonderful choice off first president of your organisation.Hanshi Barnett is one of the most humble and effective practitioners of Budo available throughout the Martial Arts world.I have trained with many respected senior martial artists throughout my 39 years of study. All have highly recommended Steve in a very positive and respectful way.I wish both Steve and all at WAMA an enjoyable Budo Journey.
